This pendant features precision inlay with turquoise from the Number 8 mine in Nevada, which stopped mining turquoise in the mid 70's. Number 8 turquoise is high quality and highly collectible. First American Traders which has been in New Mexico since the mid 70's, did a series of their inlay pieces using only Number 8 Turquoise. This pendant is marked with the First American Traders hallmark and 925

Protect your jewelry from harsh chemicals and solvents as they can damage turquoise and other stones. I recommend using a Sunshine Cloth or similar to polish your silver. Do not immerse or subject your jewelry to running water as it can dislodge the stone from the setting.
