This gorgeous turquoise is from the Morenci mine in Arizona. Morenci is known for it's intense blue color and shiny iron pyrite. The mine closed in 1984 and the turquoise is highly collectible. This stone is particularly beautiful and the pendant was made by Delbert Vandever who comes from a family of top silversmiths. His work is impeccably done with fine attention to detail. He has won many jewelry awards, including a best of show at the Santa Fe Indian Market. Signed Delbert Vandever (Navajo) and sterling.

Measurements:
1 7/8" top to bottom, including the bail x 1 1/16" at the widest.

Option to add the 18" wheat chain hand finished to match the pendant: Click here

Care Instructions

Protect your jewelry from harsh chemicals and solvents as they can damage turquoise and other stones.  I recommend using a Sunshine Cloth or similar to polish your silver.  Do not immerse or subject your jewelry to running water as it can dislodge the stone from the setting.
